The Mariners are falling apart!

There's no offense!

Griffey is falling asleep!

Time to bail on the M's right? Well come on, the season has just started. We talked with Dave Cameron from USSMariner.com about just how bad Mike Sweeney is (Can we bring back Jay Buhner?), the all important Griffey falling asleep in the clubhouse debacle and if the team has a chance to crawl back into this division race.

You can listen to the interview here.

Case of the Mondays: What we did last week on the show

Think you're having a case of the Mondays? How about being known as the Phillies Vomit Fan as this guy to the right is known. We already covered this story, as he puked on an 11-year old girl at a Phillies game (You stay classy Philadelphia), but I find it funny that he's becoming something on an internet phenom. Check this out, Phillies Vomit Fan singing karaoke.

It's gold ladies and gentlemen. Pure gold!

Anyways, here is the week recap of the show. And if MooseJaw owes any of you money... sorry.

NFL Draft - Alright so we talked a lot about the NFL Draft. Who the Seahawks were going after, how this affects the Spokane Shock and Toby's man crush on Jake Locker.

4-22-10 - Ryan Rigmaiden - Spokane Shock - Ryan gives us great insight on the talent the Seahawks got, and how he approaches draft day as the director of player personnel for the Spokane Shock.

4-21-10 - Doug Farrar - FootballOutsiders.com - Draft coverage galore, we weren't kidding when we said we were going all out on this stuff.

4-20-10 - Brian McIntyre - NorthwestFootball.net

4-19-10 - Rob Rang - CBS Sports

Seattle Sounders FC - While we're probably the only radio station on the east side of the state that talks about the Sounders, it's interesting stuff. Have a listen. And scarves up.

4-20-10 - Matt Gashk - Seattle Sounders FC - Matt also let us know how much he likes Iron Man 2, since it allows him to take his kids to a PG-13 movie instead of something with a furry dinosaur.

Seattle Mariners - Okay so they got swept this weekend, but who wouldn't want to listen to the genius that is Dave Cameron of USS Mariner.com

4-19-10 - Dave Cameron - USS Mariner

Alright that's what we have for last week. Be sure to listen in today at 4 pm.

4-15 Show Recap

There was plenty to talk about on yesterday's show, including Mariners baseball, the NBA playoffs and hockey players having sex during the playoffs.

We're not quite sure what to think about the last one.

First, we got to talk to Gonzaga head coach Mark Few about his team and how things are shaping up in the offseason. He also let us know that he did talk to Oregon this year and last about a possible opening there but that he is happy here in Spokane with Gonzaga. You can listen to the full intervirew here.

Craig West from the Tri-City Americans stopped by to talk some Hockey and about their Western Conference Championship matchup against the Vancouver Giants. (And hockey players having sex during the playoffs). You can listen to that interview here.

And with the NFL Draft quickly looming, we had to break down what exactly is gonna go down, so we brought in Doug Farrar from FootballOutsiders.com to lend his expertise. Here is what he had to say.

Tune in today at 4pm!

4-14 Show Recap

We started off the day with plenty of talk about Jay Buhner calling Milton Bradley's HR, Brandon Marshall not heading to the Seahawks and the Spokane Shock being No. 9 in the coaches poll.

Then we got serious, talking with Boise State head coach and former Gonzaga assistant Leon Rice. You can listen to that interview here.

Barry Bolton from Cougfan.com joined us, and you can hear his new intro, it's quite good. Listen to his interview here.

We talked some Seahawks, and just what the heck is going on with them. Word of advice to all the Seattle Football fans out there... don't buy your playoff tickets in advance.

Shawn Kelly of the Seattle Mariners joined us and you can here what he had to say to us here.

Spokane Chief Jared Cowen is suiting up for the Ottawa Senators, who just pulled off a first-game upset of the Pittsburgh Pengiuns in the first round of the playoffs. We got to talk to Jared, here is his interview.

And with the Big Dance starting TODAY, we talked to Robert Roberts about his favorite subject. Check out what he had to say here.

Join us again today at 4pm!

4-13 Show Recap

I think the show may have already gotten off the Seattle Mariners bandwagon as we started things off with thoughts that the M's are looking pretty bad at 2-6 and would likely be 2-7 after last night's game. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN.

For the record though, Dave Cameron from USS Mariner also joined us and said that the M's were not likely to win last nights game. And then Doug Fister went crazy on the mound. Holy cow. You can listen to our interview with Dave Cameron here.

We also touched on the comments by Terry Bradshaw about Ben Roethlisberger, and guess what? He has a third sexual assault issue on his hands as well. Wow.

Vivian Frieson came on the show after she was drafted by the Tulsa Shock of the WNBA. You can listen to what the Gonzaga Bulldog had to say here.

Tim Lewis, fresh off the creation of his new sports blog TimLewisSports.com, joined us and the KREM 2 Sports Director talked about the Spokane Shock and Seattle Mariners. Here is the interview.

MooseJaw got his revenge on Danny, using a water squirt bottle against his nemesis. We're worried for his mental health. And on cue, Robert Roberts stopped by to talk about the Bigger Dance and what hotties you can expect to advance in the Tournament. Check it out here.

4-12 Show Recap

It was our first show in the new time slot, and MooseJaw wasted no time making fun of PMS - the Fox Sports Radio Show that originally occupied the time slot. That was followed by our out-of-the-gate giveaway, so make sure you tune in at 4pm everyday to get the chance to win some free stuff!

Then with Toby, Big Marc and MooseJaw in studio, they immediatly started argueing about the Seattle Mariners, who are not exactly leaping out of the gate so far. But it was Opening Day and we called Bob Castle, who was live from Safeco Field while the game was going on.

Toby also made a point of ripping Nate, who just so happens to be the commissioner of our fantasy baseball league. Who he really should have ripped was Big Marc who apparently let the S-word out of his mouth on the air - thank god for the seven second delay.

Drayson Bowman of the Carolina Hurricanes and former Spokane Chief joined us. You can listen to that interview here.

Big Mark again stepped on his words, calling out the Red Sox poor performance at Target Field - the Minnesota Twins' new digs. That didn't go over well with Brandon. Then MooseJaw got some food, and left the studio almost immediatly to eat it.

We briefly touched on Tiger Woods cursing, which you can see here.

Rob Rang from NFLDraftScout.com and CBSSports.com joined us to fill us in on who the Seahawks should be taking and how the Draft will develop a week from now. You can hear what he had to say here.

And since the Bigger Dance is going on, Robert Roberts joined us to talk some Babetology. Here's is the audio from his analysis.

Join us today at 4pm!

4-8-10 Show Recap

It was our last show in the 12-2pm slot as we'll be changing to a 4-6pm slot of 1510 AM KGA, and there was plenty of tears to go around when we remembered all the good times we had during our lunchtime lunacy.

We got to talk to Robert Roberts (AKA the Manito Dynamo) about the Bigger Dance and what good-looking women he thought had a good chance of winning it all. You can get his breakdown of Braketology here.

Then we moved into football talk as Idaho head coach Rob Akey joined us and talked about the Vandals this season after breaking out onto the national stage last year with a magical season. You can here what he had to say here. (And yes, he does say Go Vandals!)

And we got a good rundown from the GSL Insider and what to look for when it comes to high school baseball in Spokane. You can listen to his interview here.

We'll be back on Monday (No show tomorrow), and remember we'll have a new time at 4-6pm. Tune in!

4-6 Show Recap

We're still shaking off our Duke hangover from the national championship game last night ( I mean, come on, who wanted the Blue Devils to win?), but it wasn't a half-bad showing by the Mariners last night eh?  Beating up on the hapless Oakland Athletics, who might be better off playing baseball on a freeway turnpike than that mammoth beast of crap-tastic stadium they play in now.

Casey Kotchman hit the go ahead two-run single after the M's had squandered an early 3-0 lead.Mariners went up 5-3 and Aardsma came up with the save. The only concern would be that hopefully Felix doesn't tail off in the latter innings as quickly as he did in this start.

After talking about the M's we moved on to some Seattle Seahawks talk with Brian McIntyre of NorthwestFootball.net. You can hear his take on the Hawks off-season moves so far right here.

MooseJaw continued to brag about how great his fantasy baseball team is, even though there's no doubt from the rest of the league that he'll be in last place by week's end. Nevertheless, he thinks he's unstoppable after one day of play. 161 more games to go...

Danny Evans, Associate Head Coach of the Gonzaga Bulldogs, continued the baseball talk as the Zags get set for their two-game series against the Washington Huskies today and tomorrow. You can listen to those games here on 1510 AM KGA. You can listen to what Evans had to say here.

We covered EWU and WSU spring football last week, today we decided to go over to the west side of the state and talk a little Huskie football. Chris Fetter from dawgman.com talked to us about what is going on this spring. You can listen his comments here.

Join us tomorrow, same place, same time.

4-5-10 Show Recap

What's this? Baseball season starting?! How fantastic is that? We filled the day with plenty of baseball talk on the Mariners and Texas Rangers, while games were going on. We also gave our predictions on who we think is going to the World Series and who is going to win the AL West.

First we got to chat with Dave Cameron of USSMariner.com to talk about the Mariners and just what to expect on Opening Day. You can listen to that interview here.

During the broadcast we did get a trash-talking phone call from MooseJaw about the Fantasy Baseball League, I wonder if we're going to get these calls when he's ranked last in the league by June?

Moving along with the baseball talk, Scott Lucas from the NewbergReport.com talked with us about the Texas Rangers this season, one of the big favorites to win the AL West this year. You can listen to what he had to say here.

We also gave our predictions for the upcoming season, here is the tally sheet so we can look back and make fun of one another for our stupidity.

Danny - Texas Rangers will win the AL West, Boston Red Sox will win the World Series.
Nate - LA Angels will win the AL West, Tampa Bay will win the World Series.
Brandon - LA Angels will win the AL West, Red Sox will win the World Series.
Toby - Mariners will win the AL West, St. Louis will win the World Series.

(Keep in mind that I'm a Red Sox fan, and a complete homer, so my prediction immediately holds no water whatsoever.)

We'll be back tomorrow, be sure to tune in!

4-2 Show Recap

Baseball season is just around the corner and we packed the show with pleanty of baseball talk as we had Mat Gleason from HalosHeaven.com to talk about the LA Angels this season. Gleason thinks that the Angels will win the division quite handidly, athough if everything goes right for the Mariners, it might be a dogfight. You can listen to the interview here.

You can follow Halos Heaven on Twitter Here.

Then we were able to talk to  Stephen A. Smith from Fox Sports Radio about the Final Four, Lebron leaving for New York and the NCAA Tournament expanding to 96 teams. You can listen to what he had to say here.

And we got in-depth about the Seattle Mariners prospects with Jason Churchill of ProspectInsider.com. Jason was able to enlighten us on some of the guys coming through the system and who may crack the major-league lineup this season. Here is the interview for you.

You can follow Jason Churchill on Twitter Here.

Thanks for listening. We'll be back on Monday.

4-1-10 Show Recap

Last night's 5-4 defeat at the hands of Portland was a rough loss for the Spokane Chiefs. Partly because it knocked them out of the playoffs and partly because Spokane originally had a 2-0 lead on the WinterHawks in the series.

We were able to talk to Chiefs head coach Hardy Sauter about the game on Wednesday night, you can listen to the audio of that interview here.

With baseball season quickly approaching, we started our divisional preview by talking to Jame Lee of MLB.com about the Oakland Athletics. You can listen to that interview here.

You can also follow her on twitter here.

The Spokane Shock also kick off their season this Friday at 8 p.m. against the Milwaukee Iron. Quarterback Kyle Rowley was nice enough to talk to us about the upcoming game and what to expect this year. Click here to hear what he had to say.

Craig West was able to see the Chiefs game last night and he voiced his opinion on the show (like he always does). You can listen to his thoughts here.

And we crowned a winner of our Media Madness bracket. Here is our winner...

That's right, Sean Widmer is the most powerful media member in Spokane, Wash. How about that? We're probably going to get him a trophy of some sort. We might even engrave his name into it. If you want to follow Sean on Twitter, here it is.

And the man has an acceptance speech. Buckle up.

Dearest locker room,

Good to know it's still MY station

In the words of grant Gibbs: humanity does not ask us to be happy, it
merely asks us to be brilliant on it's behalf. I was brilliant all
over your faces

Moose jaw, you're still single. Go figure

Toby, I'm glad you're drunk for me right now

Brandon, go eags

Danny, I want to eat your children

World champion. World f-ing champion

Slim

There you go, he's the champ. Watch out though, if he ends up driving his Honda Civic into a fire hydrant and tree on Hoopfest Eve after getting chased down the street by Swoop The Eagle... we might have issues.
